Chairman’s Message

Dear Friends and Associates,

It is a new year— amazingly, 2012. Wow. What an extraordinary world we live in. It is rich with a kaleidoscope of challenges and different paths to attain our most cherished desires and to accomplish our most esteemed goals and life endeavors.

With this letter, I call upon upon each and every one of you to remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation.

Many of us have lived storybook lives. We endured life's hardships early on. We were tough and persevering; always meeting the call to serve our country in different capacities; coping with the reality of making the right choices; and pursuing the courses that inevitably put us right where we want to be, now. How fortunate we are.

As in our G-Men cause, and on behalf of the many FBI Agents who have given their lives to protect America's core values and the citizens of the United States of America, we implore you to honor their sacrifice by joining us in our efforts to raise funds to provide college educations to the kids of these American heroes. It is the right thing to do for their families and for this great nation.

Think about the young men and women who have willing given their lives for this great country, without hesitation or reservation. This, my friends, is sacrifice that requires definition. Why would anyone give his or her life willingly to protect so many? To lie down one's life for a friend is godly in nature. To do so in the American spirit is beyond explanation. I can't answer this but it seems to be within the DNA of all Americans to serve this great nation, and if the call comes on our watch, we must be willing to go the distance and sometimes that means all the way.

Americans, although diverse in countless ways, are bound by core values. We share this life process together -- no matter our diversities; no matter our religion; no matter our race or ethnicity. We are one and we are bound together good, bad or otherwise. This is the way it is and probably the way it was always meant to be. FBI Agents come from this diversity and serve this nation in an exemplary manner. As Americans, we need you to reinvigorate this cause to raise funds for our fallen FBI Agents' children to obtain a college education.

Please contact your friends, your neighbors, and business associates and beseech them to contact their friends and business associates to join us in raising funds for this National College Trust Fund. They can play golf, become sponsor golfers, or just donate to this great and heart-warming cause.

Together, in a spirit of camaraderie and compassion, let’s make sure the children of our brave, fallen Agents have a chance at a college education. The future of this great nation needs them.

It is an IRS tax deduction and any donation will warm the hearts of the contributors knowing that this is really a fantastic cause. Think about it. Every donation helps to educate the child of a fallen FBI Agent who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great country — on our behalf.

Let us make 2012 one of the best years for raising funds for the FBI Kids National Trust Fund by contributing to this fundraiser. We will kick off the fundraiser with our FBI Agent Association G-Man Golf event May 3-4-5, 2012 in Palm Springs, California. We will also have our one day FBI Agents Association National Tournament on August, 24, 2012 in Thousand Oaks, California. Please visit our website, www.gmangolf.com, for more details and information.

We need you, so please join us and help us do the right thing in raising money for these kids of fallen FBI Agents. For those sponsors and players who have taken a break for a year or two, please come back. We need you more than ever. The kids need you more than ever. And America needs you to support these kids.

Thanks and have a very healthy and prosperous New Year. God bless you and your family. And God bless America.

Please contact Bob Jones, Tournament chairman, at (818) 266-9181 or gmga@sbcglobal.net to become a part of this great tradition. This will be our 21st year in the desert and our 25th year in Thousand Oaks, California.

God Bless,

Bob Jones
